Des Crêtes in Parc national du Mont-Orford climbs until the trees open and Lac-Stukely or Lac-Fraser is the water below. The campground is on that same shore, so the ridge walk and the beach share a night. Magog is the town beside the park, in the Eastern Townships.
Autoroute 10 is the road east, then Route 141 toward Lac-Stukely or Route 220 toward Lac-Fraser. From Longueuil that is a same-day drive, so either lake can be night one.
As of September 2026, SÉPAQ requires a daily access right bought online because the park caps visitors. A full day can turn you away if you show up without one. Reserve the campsite first.
Lac-Stukely and Lac-Fraser each have a beach beside the campground. Sites there are reserved spring through fall, and a semi-serviced Lac-Fraser loop lists tents, trailers, and recreational vehicles as eligible. If you need more sleeping space than a campervan holds, look at RV rentals in Longueuil.
From December through March the mountain keeps alpine skiing, and the campground loops are groomed for nordic skiing and snowshoe, with the Lac-Fraser desk open as an all-hours ski relay. Sutton is the Townships ski and hike town along the same corridor. South of the Townships, Burlington is the road toward Vermont.
The river overnight is next, in the St. Lawrence off Longueuil.
Parc national des Îles-de-Boucherville
River channels thread five small islands in the St. Lawrence off Longueuil, and paddlers spend the day in those cuts. Cyclists stay on the waterside trails. The current moves around the islands, and a full day fits in the channels.
The overnight is the Molson - Espace VR sector, a car-accessible loop with water and electricity. SÉPAQ lists tent trailers, trailers, and recreational vehicles. It does not list a plain tent, so the pad decides the vehicle. Book the Molson site first. The van is the second booking.
On summer weekends these islands and Mont-Orford book out together. Montreal is the island across the river if the trip turns into a city day.
Parc national du Mont-Saint-Bruno
Five small lakes share a trail loop at Parc national du Mont-Saint-Bruno, with an orchard and a historic mill on the same grounds. The walk links the lakes so you can do water, orchard, and mill in one loop without getting back in the van. Come for that day and leave before night.
As of September 2026, SÉPAQ's own booking menu for this park lists no campsite, cabin, or ready-to-camp stay. Sleep at Mont-Orford or at the Îles-de-Boucherville.
