Cottonwoods shade the grass at Land of Memories, where the Blue Earth River comes into the Minnesota on Mankato's west edge and anglers line the bank at the confluence. Kiesler's on Clear Lake at Waseca
Summer at Kiesler's centers on Clear Lake, with kids fishing off the dock, the heated pool deck right behind it, and mini golf for the hour before dinner. The resort runs themed weekends with floatie races, and much of the crowd is families who book the same stretch every summer, so a parked week here feels like joining a lake neighborhood. It's out US-14 east of Mankato at Waseca, and it's the obvious call when Land of Memories is full or the kids are asking for a pool.
The practical difference from the river shows up at the pad. Full-hookup sites bring water and sewer to the rig along with 30/20 or 50/30/20-amp electric (Kiesler's), so the tanks take care of themselves all week and nobody packs up for a dump run. Reservations go through the resort's own online booking.
Plenty of trailers in the listings can be delivered to the site and set up by their owners, which suits a lake week where nobody in the family wants to tow. Delivery is arranged listing by listing, though, and not every owner offers it. Reserve the site first so the owner has a pad to drop the trailer on.
